The UGC guidelines state that distance learning is not available for M. Tech. in Electrical Engineering. However, as long as they follow the rules, students can enroll in the M.Tech. Electrical Engineering program on a regular basis.

First question: Is an MTech from distance learning valid?

The MTech program is not acceptable in distance learning. Only in regular mode would it be feasible. This remote learning program has not received approval from UGC, DEB, or AICTE.

2. Is a part-time MTech acceptable?

AICTE guidelines now recognize part-time MTech degrees, which are postgraduate degrees with a two-year duration, to be valid courses or degrees.
